Operation
Operating Hi-Rise Trailer With Pump
Connect the ¾” hose (not included) from the pump dis -
charge fitting to the toolbar (Figure B24). Open the supply
ball valve to allow the flow of fluid to the pump. Refer to
the pump manual for the proper setting for the desired
application rate. Extend the pump cylinder for positive
contact between the drive wheel and ground wheel. Do
not overextend the cylinder.
If the Hi-Rise trailer is to be transported by a pickup
or other vehicle without remote hydraulics, it is
strongly recommended that the drive wheel trans-
port strap or chain be installed to prevent the cylin-
der from accidently extending causing the pump to
engage at transport speed. Mechanical damage as
well as discharge of chemical could result.
Operating Hi-Rise Trailer Without Pump
Connect the supply hose (not included) from the front 1”
fitting to the suction port of the toolbar mounted pump.
Open the 1” supply valve to supply the pump with fluid.
Steerable Trailer
Filling
Remove the Quick-Couple cap and attach a 2” fill hose.
Open the tank valves and fill valve to fill the tanks.
Steerable Trailer Discharge (w/o pump)
Attach the supply line from the planter or strip-till bar to the
2” coupler on the trailer tongue. Open the tongue valve
and tank valve.
