Start-up (Fig. I)

Protect the device against moisture
and direct sunlight.
■
Do not expose to extreme tempera-
tures or temperature changes.
■
E.g. do not leave it in a car for longer periods of
time. Before using, allow the device to acclima -
tise if has been exposed to high temperature
changes. Extreme temperatures or temperature
changes can impair the accuracy of the device.
■
Protect the device against hard shocks
or drops.
■
After heavy impacts, always check
the device for accuracy before using it
again.
Switch ON
■
Place the device on level ground.
■
Press the on/off button

to switch the device
on.

Button for rotation speed and scan-
ning mode [10]

Quick press: Change the rotation speed be -
tween 800, 450 and 2000 rpm
■
Long press: Change to scanning mode.
■
Thereafter press quickly to change the scanning
angle (10, 45, 90°).

Using buttons

and
[11]
the scanning beam
can be rotated in both clockwise and anticlock -
wise directions.

The laser is switched off with a long button press
(> 3 seconds) on the on/off button
