Changing parameters

The Annex to this manual contains templates to
simplify the setting of the ancillary parameters.
As a general rule, the default value of an ancillary
parameter corresponds to the middle position
(12 o'clock position) of the rotary knob
[13]
.

Switch off the machine and wait until all LEDs
have gone out.

Switch on the machine again. The new param-
eters are active.
Resetting to factory settings

depressed until all the LEDs
flash a second time. All the ancillary parameters
are now reset to their default values.

Form of the electrode tip
Tungsten electrodes must always be welded in
longitudinal direction, as grinding scores running
transversely result in an unsteady electric arc.
The top of the electrode for DC welding must be and
remain pointed like a pencil.
The tip angle here depends on the welding current
strength.
