ISE calibration
ConCal (ISE)
This is the conventional two-point or three-point calibration procedure that
uses 2 or 3 freely selectable standard solutions.
Calibration
Use two or three different standard solutions from the following selection. In
the three-point calibration, the standards must be selected in either ascend-
ing or descending order.
Note
If a printer is connected to the interface, a calibration protocol is automatically
printed after a valid calibration.

l
Press the <CAL> key. Std2 appears on the display.
l
Enter the current concentration of the first standard solution with

l
Immerse the ISE electrode and, if necessary, the temperature sensor in
the first standard solution.
l
Press <RUN/ENTER>. The AutoRead measurement begins. The elec-
trode voltage (mV) appears on the display. If the measured value is stable,
Std2 appears.
l
Enter the current concentration of the second standard solution with
<

>.
l
Thoroughly rinse the ISE electrode and, if necessary, the temperature
sensor with deionized water and immerse in the second standard solution.
l
Press <RUN/ENTER>. The AutoRead measurement begins. The elec-
trode voltage (mV) appears on the display. If the measured value is stable,
the slope appears in calibration range I.
Note
At this point, the ISE calibration can be terminated with <M>. This
corresponds to a two-point calibration with the displayed slope.
