M6060, M7060, WSM

2-S12

Adjusting Main Gear Shift

1. Make sure that there are sufficient grease applied to the sliding

position 1 

"a"

 and sliding position 2 

"b"

.

2. If the main gear shift lever has play or does not shift smoothly,

tighten the lock nut (2) to adjust.

3. When the main gear shift lever (5) is in neutral position, be sure

that the main gear shift lever (5) position is in the middle position
(

"A"

, 

"B"

) of the main gear shift lever guide.

If it is not, loosen the nuts (1) and adjust the position of the main
gear shift lever (5) or fine-adjust the length 

"L1"

 and 

"L2"

 of the

main shift rod 1 and 2.

4. When you shift the main gear shift lever (5) in all position, be

sure that the clearance 

"C"

 between the main gear shift lever

(5) and lever guide is same value shown in left figure.
If it is not, loosen the nuts (1) and adjust position of the main
gear shift lever (5) or fine-adjust the length 

"L2"

 of the main shift

rod 2.
