6. ASSEMBLING THE CASING

Once the mechanical seal has been installed and the impeller and impeller nut assembly has
been tightened, place the casing O-ring (

) onto the groove on the front of the backplate. Take
the casing (

) and place it onto the adapter. Position the discharge at the desired location and
use the four hexagonal screws (

) and washers (

) to install the casing.
