Connecting/Disconnecting Vacuum Hoses

Make sure quick connectors seal completely and all vacuum 
hoses function correctly (see 

“Vacuum Test”

 on page 27).

To 

connect

 a vacuum hose, push the male and female ends of the quick connector together 

until they lock (fig. 1B). 

To 

disconnect

 a vacuum hose, move the release ring on the female end until the quick 

connector separates (fig. 2B).
