For Your Safety
To avoid electric shock, do not open the housing of the receiver. Only qualified personnel are allowed to service
the receiver.
Keep the receiver away from flower vases, tubs, sinks, etc., to avoid damage and electric shock.
Do not expose the receiver under direct sunlight and keep it away from any heat source.
Do not block the ventilation holes of the receiver to allow air circulation and prevent overheating.
When the receiver is operating abnormally, unplug it from the power outlet immediately.
Do not touch the receiver during thunderstorms as this might cause electric shock.
Switch off and unplug the receiver from the power outlet when it will not be used for extended periods of time.
Unplug the receiver from the power outlet before cleaning its housing. If the housing is dirty, wipe it clean with
damp cloth, then wipe it again with dry cloth.
Important Safety Instructions
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Keep this user’s manual at a safe place for future reference.
3. Do not use the receiver near water.
4. Clean only with damp or dry cloth.
5. Do not install the receiver near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other
equipment/apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
6. Operate this product only with the type of power source indicated on the label. If you are not sure of
the type of power connected to your home, consult your local power company. Disconnect the receiver
from the power outlet before any maintenance or installation procedure.
7. Protect the power cord from damage and stress.
8. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
9. Unplug the receiver during lightning storms or when unused for extended periods of time.
10. Refer all servicing only to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the receiver has been
damaged in any way, including damage to the power cord and/or plug; if the receiver has been exposed
to liquid or moisture; has been dropped; or is not operating correctly.
11. Do not impede the airflow into the receiver by blocking the ventilation slots.
12. Attention should be drawn to the environmental hazards of battery disposal.
13. Use the receiver only indoors and in moderate temperature.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the receiver to rain or moisture.
The batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as direct sunlight, fire, etc.
