Advanced Operation

plied with the radios to the PC (programming) interface port located on the left 

side of each radio. This is the port with a rubber cover marked PC. 

3.  Connect an antenna to each unit, with ample distance between the two aerials to 

prevent signal cancellation or cross interference. Alternatively a duplexer and single 

antenna can be used.

The two radios can now operate together as one repeater. 
When the KG-1000G is operating in repeater 

mode, the screen will display the repeater icon. 

Additional Repeater Settings

When the radios are in repeater mode, selected 

features can be enabled or disabled. You can turn 

the speaker on or off by configuring the RPT-

SPK option [MENU 30].  The option to transmit 

using the PTT on the hand microphone while 

the radios are in repeater RX/TX mode can be
