WINDOW SHUTTER
When cleaning and maintaining the shutter, no system components or covers should be opened or removed.
If this should be necessary, contact your dealer.
Heavy soiling can make the movement stiff or cause other damage and shorten the service life of the product. You should therefore
regularly remove any adhering dirt or debris.
To clean, use only standard, commercially available detergents and clean water. Do not use harsh detergents, solvents such as alcohol
or petrol, abrasives or scouring cloths.
The coated aluminium parts should be cleaned at least once a year, or more often in the event of heavier environmental soiling.
Remove dust and dirt accumulations from the coated aluminium parts by washing with warm water with an admixture
of neutral wetting agents that do not damage aluminium. Use a soft sponge or cloth to clean. Acid and alkaline cleaning agents are
not suitable.
Mechanical instruments with abrasive action which damage the paint surface are unsuitable for cleaning.
Safe and risk-free use of the shutter can only be guaranteed if the system is checked and maintained annually. You should regularly
inspect your shutter for signs of wear or damage. Do not use shutters in need of repair! Always contact your local specialist dealer for
any necessary maintenance or repair work.
To replace worn or defective parts, use only spare parts approved by WO UND WO , otherwise any guarantee and warranty claim will be
voided.

Incorrect dismantling of the shutter can result in personal injury or damage to property. Therefore, always have the equipment
disassembled by appropriately qualified personnel from a specialist company.
Instructions and notes on removal can be found in the relevant installation guide.
The removal and re-installation of the product must be carried out by a specialist company in accordance with the current guidelines
and
standards. Always request any missing documentation from your WO UND WO dealer prior to removal or re-installation.
If your product is no longer usable, dispose of it in accordance with the applicable legal regulations.

The statutory limitation period for warranty claims applies. Regular maintenance is a condition precedent. Wear parts such as gear-
wheels, bearings and supplied fittings are excluded from the warranty.
The assessment of the coating surface is carried out in accordance with the quality regulations of the GSB (Gütegemeinschaft für die
Stückbeschichtung von Bauteilen, the quality association for batch coating of building components). The assessment is carried out
from a vertical viewing distance of 3 meters, outdoors, in diffuse, natural daylight. Anything that is not visible to the naked eye from this
viewing distance is not considered a defect in the coating. However, there may be minor variations in colour from product to product,
even though the products have been coated using the same colour (e.g. RAL). Depending on the support substrate, processing
technology, batches or duration of weathering, variations in colour may occur. Due to the technical design, these variations cannot be
avoided and are not grounds for a warranty claim.
