Prevent unintentional starts. Make sure that the power tool is switched off be-
fore you connect it to the power supply, when lifting or carrying it. If your finger
is on the main switch when you are carrying the tool or if it is switched on when
you insert the power plug, serious accidents could occur.
Pull the power plug out of the socket before performing settings. This precau-
tion will prevent the device from accidentally starting.
Never let persons operate the device, who are not familiar with it or who have
not read this manual.
Special environmental conditions (e.g.: explosive environment, high buildings,
damp conditions) must be ruled out.
Safety precaution for fire prevention
Keep an extinguisher on hand.
In the event of wood and paper fires: powder fire extinguisher (fire class ABC)
or foam fire extinguisher (fire class AB).
For electrical fires: carbon dioxide (CO
2
) fire extinguisher (fire class B).
Special safety precautions for persons with medical
implants
Every power tool generates an electromagnetic field during operation that may
interfere with the functioning of medical implants (e.g. pacemakers) under un-
favorable conditions.
