Instructions on working with the sander
Attention! Wear a breathing mask and safety goggles. Protective gloves are
recommended. Handling asbestos-containing material is prohibited.
The working principle of the vibrating grinder rests on small circular movements. It is
not necessary to exert additional pressure on the vibrating grinder, since its own weight
suffices completely to attain a good work result.
Always begin with rough sanding paper and then proceed, from one sanding pass to the
next, to finer grade sanding paper. After changing to the next respectively finer sanding
paper, the sanding pass should be perpendicular to the previous one. To attain a polished
surface, the surface should be cleaned thoroughly with a cloth after the last sanding pass
with fine sanding paper. Finally, the surface should be treated one more time with fine
sanding paper.
Dust extraction
The sanding pad of your orbital sander is designed so that an adapter for dust extraction
can be attached. We recommend that you always connect an industrial dust extractor
when using the orbital sander.
When working with wood for an extended period, the power tool is to be connected to a
suitable external extraction mechanism.
Electric equipment with expired service life and environmental
protection
Should your electric equipment be so intensively used that it must
be replaced one day, or there is no other use for it, please think about
protection of the environment. Electric equipment does not belong to
usual domestic waste. It can be dealt with in an environmentally friendly
manner.
