Read all these instructions before operating this product and keep these
instructions for future reference.
Follow the checklist below, before attempting to use the machine.
1. The sheathing of the flex in the plug or socket is securely gripped under the
cord grip.
2. There is no damage to the sheath of the extension lead.
3. The cable is run out safely to avoid damage or accidental tripping.
4. The lead is fully unwound from the reel to avoid overheating.

: Read the instructions carefully before using the shredder and
familiarize yourself with the controls and proper use of the equipment.

: Keep hands, feet, hair and clothing away from the moving
parts of the shredder.
There is a risk that some objects could be thrown out by the shredder.
Keep bystanders away.
Do not reach into the feed opening or the discharge chute. The blades
will continue to rotate for approx 5 seconds after it has been switched off.

: If the cord becomes damaged during use, do not touch.
Immediately disconnecting the plug from the supply or disconnect the
shredder from the mains supply also when not in use or during work on
the machine itself (e.g., changing parts, repairs, cleaning and
adjustment).

: Always wear safety glasses, ear muffs and protective gloves.
WARNING
: Do not use the shredder in the rain or damp conditions.
Protect it from moisture.

The noise test code complies to the standard EN13683: 2003 Annex F.

Attention
The electrical AC MAINS SUPPLY may experience voltage drops when starting
this equipment. This can influence other equipment (e.g. blinking of a lights). If the
AC MAINS SUPPLY impedance Zmax is less than 0.40 0HM at 50Hz, such
disturbances are not expected. If necessary, you may contact your local supply
authority for further information.
Use outdoor extension leads
When this tool is used outdoors, use only extension cords intended for outdoor
use.
Keep work area clean
Cluttered and untidy areas invite injuries.
Consider work area environment
Do not expose power tool to rain.
Do not use power tools in damp or wet conditions.
Keep work areas well lit.
Do not use power tools where there is a risk of causing fire or explosion.
Guard against electric shock
Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, e.g. pipes, cables etc.
Keep children and pets away from the work area
Do not let visitors touch the tool or extension cord. All visitors should be kept away
from the work area.
