MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING:

Switch the appliance off and remove the power plug before commencing any
work to the appliance.
- Do not use any sharp objects to clean the appliance. Never permit fluids to penetrate inside the
appliance. The appliance could be damaged. The carbon brushes should only be replaced by the service
centre or an authorized specialist workshop. Apart from this, the appliance is maintenance-free.
- Ensure that the appliance has cooled down completely, otherwise there is a risk of burns.
- The appliance must be depressurized before all cleaning and maintenance tasks. To do this, open the
release valve until no more air escapes.
- Clean the appliance regularly, preferably immediately after completion of the work.
- Clean the housing with a dry cloth – do
NOT
use petrol, solvents or cleaners that can attack the plastic.
- Ensure that no water gets into the appliance.
- Ventilation openings must never be obstructed.
Replacing the mains connection line:
Risk of electric shock!
If the mains connection line is damaged or is improperly mounted, there is a risk of electric shock.
− The mains connection line may only be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service or a similarly
qualified specialist to avoid risks.
− If the mains connection line of this compressor is damaged, have it replaced by a qualified specialist
before using the compressor again.
Storage:
Note:
Store the appliance in a dry and secure environment. Before storage, the appliance and all connected
compressed air tools should be bled.
- Disconnect the mains power plug and then bleed the appliance and all connected compressed air tools.
- Store the appliance so that it cannot be used by unauthorized persons.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
Risk of electric shock!
If you open the compressor or repair it improperly, there is a risk of electrical shock.
- Never open the housing of the compressor.
- Only have an authorized service outlet or customer service repair the compressor.
- Immediately disconnect the compressor from the power supply in the event of an error.
This compressor requires no maintenance. If a problem occurs, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the compressor from the power supply.
2. Let the compressor cool off.
3. Make sure that the compressor is in safe condition.
4. Use the following table to determine the cause of the problem.
