Emergency Lowering
The ELVETA is equipped with an electrical switch for the emergency lowering sys-
tem. The emergency lowering system is necessary to ensure controlled lowering in
case of hand switch failure or direct electric motor operation of the lifting and low-
ering support.

Emergency Lowering Switch
The emergency lowering switch is located on the right side of the lift motor. To op-
erate the switch, reach through the hole in the Plexiglas window and press the red
button on the right side of the lift motor. The patient will be lowered.
WARNING
Risk of Injury Through Malfunction!
Using the emergency lowering system may lead to malfunctions in lifting and
lowering operations. There is a risk of uncontrolled lifting or lowering with the
risk of injury.

Do not use the lift after using the emergency lowering system.
