AVOID INJURY FROM UNEXPECTED ACCIDENT
Always pay full attention to the movement of the log pusher. Do not attempt to load the log
until the log pusher has completely stopped. Keep hands out of the way of all moving parts.
PROTECT YOUR HANDS
Keep your hands away from splits and cracks which open in the log. They may close sudden-
ly and crush or amputate your hands. Do not attempt to remove a jammed log with your
hands.
DO NOT FORCE THE MACHINE
The log splitter will do a better and safer job at its design rate. Never try to split logs larger
than those indicated in the technical data table. It could be dangerous and may damage the
machine. Do not use the log splitter for a purpose for which it was not intended.
NEVER LEAVE TOOL RUNNING UNATTENDED
Do not leave the machine until it has come to a complete stop.
STOP THE ENGINE PRIOR TO SERVICE AND CLEANING
Stop the engine always when the log splitter is not in use, prior to adjustments, changing
parts, cleaning or working on the log splitter. Consult the manual before servicing.
PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
Take used oil to an authorized collection point or follow the stipulations in the country where
the machine is used. Do not discharge into drains, soil or water.
MAINTAIN YOUR LOG SPLITTER
Keep the log splitter clean and in good working condition for the best and safest perfor-
mance.
MAKE THE WORKSHOP CHILDPROOF
Lock the workshop. Keep the log splitter away from children and others not qualified to use
it. Do not let untrained people use it. The log splitter is dangerous if the operator is un-
trained.
FUEL SAFETY
Fuel is extremely flammable and its exhausts may explode while ignited. Be careful when
handling fuel to avoid serious accidents. When you fill or empty the fuel tank, use only ac-
cepted container in a well-ventilated space. Do not smoke or use sparks, open fire or other
ignition sources near the fuel handling area. Never fuel the machine indoors.
