DO NOT FORCE THE MACHINE
The log splitter will do a better and safer job at its design rate. Never try to split logs larger
than those indicated in the technical data. It could be dangerous and may damage the ma-
chine. Do not use the log splitter for a purpose for which it was not intended.
NEVER LEAVE TOOL RUNNING UNATTENDED
Do not leave the appliance until it has come to a complete stop.
STOP THE ENGINE PRIOR TO SERVICE AND CLEANING
Stop the engine always when the log splitter is not in use, prior to adjustments, changing
parts, cleaning or working on the log splitter. Consult the manual before servicing.
PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
Take used hydraulic oil to an authorized collection point or follow the stipulations in the
country where the machine is used. Do not discharge into drains, soil or water.
MAINTAIN YOUR LOG SPLITTER
Keep the log splitter clean and in good working condition for the best and safest perfor-
mance.
MAKE THE WORKSHOP CHILDPROOF
Lock the workshop. Disconnect master switches. Keep the log splitter away from children
and others not qualified to use it. Do not let untrained people use it. The log splitter is dan-
gerous if the operator is untrained.

* The diameter is indicative. A small log can be difficult to split if it has knobs or particularly
tough fiber. On the other hand, it may not be difficult to split logs with regular fibers even if
the diameter exceeds the max figure indicated above.
