Internal.Components

Like all machinery there is potential danger when operating this machine. Accidents are fre-

quently caused by lack of familiarity or failure to pay attention. Use this machine with respect

and caution to decrease the risk of operator injury. If normal safety precautions are overlooked

or ignored, serious personal injury may occur.

A.. Infeed.Roller:

Rotates with the direction

of feed to pull the workpiece toward the

cutterhead.

B.. Cutterhead:

Holds the inserts that remove

material from the workpiece. Rotates

opposite the direction of feed.

C.. Outfeed.Roller:

Rotates with the direction

of feed to pull the workpiece through the

planer.

D.. Planer.Table:

Provides a smooth, flat

surface for the workpiece to slide against

as it moves through the planer. Planer

extension tables fold up and down for

mobility.
