Escape Wheel Arbor

1 - Escape wheel (#5)
1 - 8 tooth gear (#6)
1 - 3 5/8" arbor
2 - Spacer washers (#42)
note: second hand will be installed

on this arbor after clock is assembled.

Assembly Procedure

Mount the 8-tooth gear and the escape wheel on the arbor in the positions indicated in the Gear
Locations Diagram below. Be sure the teeth of the escape wheel are oriented as shown below. Place
a spacer washer on both ends of the arbor.
