DO NOT

 use water or any other liquid to cool down any parts of the Custom Grill� Doing so could permanently damage the Grill and 

its components� Take care when cleaning near the burners to avoid contact with the spark igniter assemblies to avoid accidental 
damage� Never spray water onto or around the burners� 

DURING THE DAY

 

The Custom Grill Branding Grates should be cleaned during the operating period using the Grate 
Cleaning Comb Tool supplied with the Custom Grill to remove carbon build up during the cooking process�  
Removal of carbon residue will enhance the quality of the finished produce�

Optional Custom Smooth Griddle Plate

 

To remove any carbon residue from the cooking surface, use a stainless steel spatula, taking care  
not to scratch the plate surface by applying too much pressure during the cleaning process

Remove grease trays and clean using an approved mild detergent, hot water, and an approved sanitizing solution� Alternatively, 
these items can be cleaned in a dishwasher�

CLEANING THE COOKING SURFACE

 

Custom Branding Grates should be removed from the grill for general cleaning� The build up of carbon residue should be 
removed from the top and underside of the grate using a stainless steel wire brush and the Custom Cleaning Comb Grate 
Tool�

 

For deeper cleaning, the grates can be cleaned with a pressure type cleaner or be soaked in hot soapy water�

CLEANING THE CABINET (EXTERIOR)

All exposed surfaces of the grill should be wiped clean daily using an approved mild cleaning solution� Stubborn residues may be 
removed using a non-metallic scouring pad� When scouring stainless steel, scrub with the grain to avoid scratching the finish�

CLEANING THE ACCESSORIES

All grill tools (Quad Grate Removal Tool Set, Grate Cleaning Comb Tool) should be cleaned using an approved mild detergent, hot 
water, and an approved sanitizing solution� Alternatively, these items can be cleaned in a dishwasher� 

EXHAUST HOOD

Refer to the exhaust hood manufacturer’s recommendations for inspection, maintenance and cleaning�
