Side cutter setup

Setup

See Figure 3-14.

Use the 30 mm and 12 mm open-end wrench in combination to loosen

the nut on the top of the shaft.

Loosen the nuts on the side cutters by screwing them in the same direction as their
respective cutter rotate.

REPLACING KNIVES

Loosen the lock screw with a 4 mm hex key (supplied).

Remove the gib.

Remove the knife from the dowel pins.

Insert a new knife and gib.

Screw the lock screws tight.

IMPORTANT!

Ensure the knives are mounted in the proper orienta-

tions for the rotation of the head.
