applications of the tool. However if the tool is used for
diff erent applications, with diff erent acces sories or poorly
maintained, the vibration emission may diff er. This may
signifi cantly increase the exposure level over the total
working period.

An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration should
also take into account the times when the tool is switched
off  or when it is running but not actually doing the job. This
may signifi cantly reduce the exposure level over the total
working period.

Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator
from the eff ects of vibration include: main taining the tool
and the accessories, keeping hands warm, organisation of
work patterns.

3.0 Maintenance

3.1 Additional weight (D)

►  Only the original weight may be used. Never use other

weights or add additional weights as these can cause

the machine to become overloaded!

►  WOLFF recommends that no more than 2 additional

weights are used.

►  Only WOLFF weights may be used. Fit additional

weight (2) at an angle and engage

3.2   Mounting segments (C)

►

Information on quick exchange of grinding seg -

ments

-  The grinding segments are inserted intothe groove

and wedged outward by hammering slightly (soft-head

hammer).

-  When grinding, the centrifugal force presses the grin-

ding segments to the outside.

-  To replace worn segments, strike them to the inside

with a gentle hammer blow.

When centered, they can be removed easily.

►  Depending on the subsoil, diff erent numbers of dia-

mond segments can be used. By default, you use 4-9

segments. Always be fully aware that they are equally

distributed over the plate to avoid an imbalance.

3.3 Recommended segments (H)

►

ES-segment: For preparing screed. For grinding

and removing sintered layers of screed and for

removing thin paint layers on soft mineral substra-

tes.

Diamond segment ES, grit 20

#56306

Diamond segment ES, grit 40

#56308

Diamond segment ES, grit 60

#56309

►

PKD-segment:

 #48028

For aggressive removal of PU coatings, putty mass

and tile adhesives (for thick adhesive layers).

  BT-segment: For preparing concrete substrates

For grinding concrete, coatings and highgrade

compounds and for removing thin paint layers on

hard substrates.

Diamond segment BT, grit 20                      #48038

Diamond segment BT, grit 40                      #48041

Diamond segment BT, grit 60                      #56303

►

PKD-splinter segment

 #48036

For removing thin epoxy resin layers, paint,

synthetic resin, PU and dispersion adhesive. Well

suited for removing fl eece backing and textile

double backing. (On hard sub-surfaces only.)

3.4   Set level regulator/body carriage (E)

►

The machine must be positioned horizontally when

sanding/milling segments are attached.

For this purpose, the transport wheel (8) can be read

justed through the elongated holes of the level control

(7).

If the sanding segments have been used up, then

the machine may also be re-adjusted via the level

regulator (7) and positioned horizontally again.

The position may be checked using the provid

spirit level on the motor head.
