3.5 Support wheel (A)

►  When working on soft surfaces, the support wheel (6)  
 

can be mounted. It prevents the machine from immer- 

 

sing too deeply.

3.6   Dust extraction

►  Dusts from materials such as lead-containing coatings,  
 

some wood types, minerals and metal can be harmful  

 

to one’s health. Touching or inhaling the dusts can  

 

cause allergic reactions and/or lead to respiratory   

 

infections of the user or bystanders.

 

Certain dusts are considered carcinogenic, especially  

 

in conjunction with additives. Material containing    

 

asbestos may only be handled by specialists.

–  Use dust extraction whenever possible.
–  Provide for good ventilation of the work area.
–  The use of a P2 fi lter class respirator is recommended.

 

Observe the relevant regulations in your country for the  

 

materials to be worked.

 

The vacuum cleaner must be approved for the extrac- 

 

tion of masonry dust. WOLFF provides:

 

High performance vacuum cleaner T-REX # 13314

 

Insert the suction hose of the vacuum cleaner in  

 

the adapter (10) of the machine.

4.0 Use

Starting Operation

►  Observe correct mains voltage! The voltage of   
 

the power source must match the voltage specifi ed  

 

on the type plate of the machine. 

4.1 Handle height adjuster (I) 

►  The handle height adjuster (16) may be used to set  
 

a comfortable working height. 

 

By pressing the pressure switch (16), the height /    

 

inclination of the stem can be adjusted.

4.2 Handle height adjustment (B)

►  Loosen the allen bolts (13) with the supplied    
 

allen key (20) to adjust the grip.

4.3   Switching On/Off  application (G)

1.  Move the handle to the working position via the handle  
 

height adjuster (16). (I)

2.  Lift the machine by applying light pressure to the hand- 
 

le to allow the motor to start up without load

3.  Turn the switch (15) to the right, the motor starts up

4.  Set the machine down carefully.

5.  Switch off  by turning the switch to the left

►  The machine can be stopped immediately with the  
 

emergency stop (14).

Check the direction of rotation of 
the motor (J). Switch the phases 

in the plug, if required. The fan wheel must rotate 
in an anticlockwise direction.

4.4 Power consumption (F)

The display (12) indicates the power consumption.

3 LEDs light up green:

►  Machine operational, no faults.

 

LED light up yellow:

►  Machine in overload range

 

LED light up red:

►  Machine shutdown imminent
►  Overload protection triggered
