Position of the electrode

•
Check the central of the electrode surface. It
should be clean in the working area (see
photo).
Cleaning the electrode
•
Clean the electrode if too many residues
have been found on electrode working area.
(Too many residues attached might disturb
the chemical reaction during measuring.)
•
Rotate to unscrew the membrane set from
the probe.
CAUTION!
Any electrolyte still present may leak out. Hold
the electrode down.
•
Clean the probe with a soft fiber cloth or if
necessary with the finger nail.
•
Use a knife blade to scrape lightly on the
electrode to remove the white residue as
below image. Do not scrape the “surface of
working area“ by knife blade to prevent
damage.
•
Use clean water to wash away the remain-
ing impurities.
Changeing the membrane set
NOTE!
Under normal use, the 2 Replacement Mem-
brane Sets enclosed in the package of the O
2
-
Probe will be enough to cover the replacement
need for the entire O
2
Probe life time.
