4.3.2 Installing the housing
1. Fix the UV-unit with 4 suitable screws (image 6) either
a. vertically on a suitable wall
or
b. on the fl oor with the seperately available stainless steel fl oor mounting
bracket.
2. Check the strength of the connection.
IMPORTANT: the fl ow direction must be from bottom to top!
You will also fi nd a suitable indication on the type plate of the UV-unit

4.3.3 Connection to the water pipes e.g. installation in the fresh water system (motorhome)
Note: When using connection fi ttings not included in the scope of delivery, ensure that they are compatible and
follow the connection instructions of the respective manufacturer.
1. Cut the water hose at the desired installation location as shown in image 7.
Ensure a straight cut for hoses.
2. Slide the hose, coming from the pump, onto the matching plug-in hose nozzle included in the
scope of delivery and fasten it with a locking clip (images 8 and 9a).
Note: For the use of the 12 or 15mm plug-in water connection adapter, for example UniQuick,
John Guest® or Whale system® (not included in the scope of delivery), please see image 9b.
3. Slide the hose, starting from the UV-unit, onto the matching plug-in hose nozzle included in
the scope of delivery and fasten it with a locking clip (images 8 and 9a).
Note: For the use of the 12 or 15mm plug-in water connection adapter, for example UniQuick®,
John Guest® or Whale system® (not included in the scope of delivery), please see image 9b.
4. Now guide the hoses either:
a. directly into the connections of the UV-unit (image 10a).
or
b. into the plug-in angles 90° included in the scope of delivery and then into the
UV-unit (image 10b).
In both cases secure all plug connections with the locking clips incl. in the scope of delivery
(image 11).
5. Check all connections for tight fi t and a tension-free connection to the UV-unit
(images 12a and 12b).
