General note
Ceramic insulated heating element: The inital brown color of the heating
element insulation is normal. The heating element decolors during use.

Clean the ceramic annealing tube frequently and
check for damage. If the ceramic annealing tube
(3b) exhibits any cracks, chips or similar, do not
use the device! Replace the ceramic annealing
tube. Check also if the quartz glass heating
element (3a) is damaged! For further information
see paragraph 6 of this manual.
