Series 5000 Hardware Guide

V-groove Washer keeps Blade from penetrating matboard by the thickness of the washer.

Head Removal

1. L-click Reset Motors (menu option) to disengage Motors. Removing the Head Hood (held with Phillips screws w/star wash

-

ers) will make access to the Head Power Plug easier. Remove Blade.

2. Unplug Head Power Plug by gripping white plug housing firmly (not flexible cable), and gently rock it back and forth while

pulling up (Fig A).

3. Disconnect air supply (Fig B). Disconnect the Air Line by unscrewing airline connector.

4. Open Head. Remove Horizontal Bolt from Head and right Hinge on the Trolley Plate using the 9/64 Allen Wrench (Fig
C-D).
