2.8 Low Voltage Controller Is Not Operating the Patient Light
Chapter 2: Troubleshooting Procedures
8. The input voltage reads 120V AC, 240V AC, or 277V AC between the
black and the white wires on the low voltage controller (see figure 2-2 on
page 2-18).

Replace the circuit breaker, and if needed, the wiring between
the circuit breaker and the low voltage controller.
9. A high impedence voltage meter indicates a drop to 0V DC in both of the
following situations:
a. When the meter is connected between the positive red wire and the
common brown wire on the low voltage controller, and the indirect
light switch is pressed.
b. When the meter is connected to the positive blue wire and the common
brown wire on the low voltage controller, and the read light switch is
pressed.

Replace the low voltage switch (refer to procedure 4.11).
10. A high impedence voltage meter indicates that the voltage on the low
voltage controller is between 10 and 14 V DC in both of the following
situations:
a. When the meter is connected between the positive red wire and the
common brown wire.
b. When the meter is connected between the positive blue wire and the
common brown wire.

Replace the low voltage controller (refer to procedure 4.14).
11. When the low voltage controller measures 120 V AC, 240 V AC, or 277 V
AC between the following wires:
a. The pink and green.
b. The yellow and green.
