3. Installation Instructions

3.1 Before Installation

1. Electric pumps shall be comprehensively checked for

damage during transportation and storage prior to installation

and use, e.g. whether cable is in good condition. In case of any

damage, please have the replacement or repair carried out by a

specialist.

2. Before operation, electric pumps shall be checked for

whether the insulation resistance meets the requirements of

relevant standards, and whether the cold insulation resistance

is greater than 50MΩ.

3.2 Installation

1. At the connection of delivered

pipe matching with outlet joint (the

speciﬁcation of delivery pipe can

be selected according to discharge

connection size in part 2), flexible

delivery pipe can be tightened with

iron wire or clamp and steel pipe

can be reliably connected with

screwed joint or welded flange

plate, and a rope should be reeved

through the handle or lift ring to lift

the electric pump.
2. It’s strictly prohibited to strike or

roll over cable, nor shall it be used

as lifting rope. During the operation

of electric pump, cable shall not be

stretched to avoid electric shock

accidents due to the damage of

cable.

3.3 During Usage

1. The electric pump shall be subjected to a

test run for not longer than 10 seconds before

being submerged into water, and it shall be

checked whether the direction of rotation of

the electric pump is in accordance with the

indicator arrow. If it is found that a three-phase

electric pump reverses (no reversal for single-

phase electric pumps), the power supply shall

be disconnected immediately, and two of the

three phases (except the ground wire) should

be exchanged with each other. If provided with

a plug at delivery, the matching plug-in plate

shall be reliably grounded.

Note: After powered on, the wind power at

outlet should be very large, which means

that the direction of rotation is correct. If not,

the rotating direction is reversed. It’s strictly

prohibited to touch the electric pump with hand

when the power is on.
