3. Installation and Notices
1. Prior to installation and use, please fully check whether the electric pump is damaged during transportation or
storage, for example, whether any cable or outgoing line or plug (if provided) is in a perfect condition. In case of any
damage, please have the replacement or repair carried out by a specialist.
2. The insulation resistance under cold condition is must be greater than 50MΩ.
3. Before the electric pump running, the creepage protection device must be equipped and make sure the yellow-
green wire is earthed properly. The socket must also be grounded if the electric pump is with a plug.
4. Test before putting the pump into water. The test must not last longer than 10 seconds, the rotating direction must
be the same as the arrow head on the name plate. If this is not the case, immediately disconnect the power supply
and, if necessary, replace any two wires of the cable used for the power connection in case of three phase pump.
5. Connect the hose for delivery pipe with clasp or wire, if steel pipe is used, it can be connected with thread or
flange. Please tie a rope to the handle ring to make it easier to lift the electric pump up and down.
6. It is prohibited to stretch, coil or even use the cable as a rope for lifting. It is also prohibited to pull the cable when
the electric pump is in motion, which will cause electric shock due to the damage of the cable.
7. The depth at which the electric pump is submerged under water must be less than 20 meters and at least 1 meter
above the water bottom. It is necessary to avoid that the pump gets stuck in the mud in case the strainer is blocked
by the float grass or the impeller is blocked. It is necessary to check the water level regularly to make sure that the
pump is deep enough under water.
8. During the electric pump operation, a warning and caution sigh written by “
Dangerous, Electricity, No Entry
”
must be set up to avoid accidents.
9. If the electric pump is far away from the power supply where it is installed. Please use a thicker cable accordingly.
(Must be thicker than the cable from the pump).
10. When the pump is in operation and the user wants to change the position of the pump or touch the pump, the
power supply must be disconnected first to avoid accidents.
11. The three-phase electric pump is equipped with overload protection, and the selected protection should be
suitable for the power and current. The wiring diagram is as shown below.
12. The oil chamber and the motor chamber are filled with machine oil, which ensures effective lubrication and
cooling of the mechanical seal. The machine oil may possibly leak if the pump is damaged or malfunctions. When
the pump is used for planting, animal breeding, transportation and processing of drinking water or food, the leaking
machine oil may affect the growth of plants and animals or contaminate the drinking water or food.
13. If soft line damaged, the user must use the special soft line from factory or maintenance department to
purchase special component for replacement.
