w
The charging unit can be connected to voltage outlet
between 220-240 volts using a shaver socket outlet or
adaptor socket BS1363/3.
w
Place the rechargeable toothbrush handle onto the
charging base (switch to the front).
w
The green indicator will light up when the toothbrush is
inserted on the plugged-in charging base.
Connecting
w
The toothbrush may warm up slightly during recharging.
This does not effect the operation of the unit.
Over charging is impossible.
w
To maintain the toothbrush’s full performance, it should
always be stored on the charging base after use.
w
To maximise the capacity and life of the rechargeable
batteries, they should be fully charged for 16 hours
before the first use, fully discharged in use then
recharged to full capacity again.
Preserving the rechargeable batteries
w
This discharging/charging procedure should be done
every 6 months.
w
After the toothbrush handle has been fully charged,
attach the brush head to the handle by placing it on the
unit twisted slightly to the left and turning to the right
until it is locked into position. To remove, simply reverse
the procedure. The brush head must face the same
direction as the switch.
w
Wet the brush head and place the toothpaste on the
head. Switch the toothbrush on AFTER guiding the brush
head into your mouth.
How to use
w
Position the brush in an angled position and slowly move
the brush along the outside and the inside surfaces of all
your teeth and gums. Clean the rear sides and chewing
surfaces of the molars with a rotary movement.
w
The toothbrush will run for 2 minutes, as per the
recommended brushing time by dental professionals.
At exactly 2 minutes the motor will simply turn itself off.
During the first few days of using, your gums may bleed slightly, particularly if they normally tend to do so. After a few days,
the bleeding will generally stop. If your gums continue to bleed after 2 weeks, you should see your dentist.
Brush heads should be replaced every 2 to 3 months depending upon use. If the bristles splay before 2 months this means that
you are exerting too much pressure on your teeth and gums.
IMPORTANT – Cleaning instructions
The following care instructions must be followed to ensure your toothbrush functions correctly:
1. After use rinse the brush head thoroughly for several seconds
with the toothbrush switched on under running water.
2. Wipe away and remove all toothpaste residue from the
head and handle after use as hardened toothpaste
can lead to damage of the internal mechanism.
3. Dry handle.
4. Store toothbrush on charging base.
