• DEVICE TYPE
Press the +/- buttons on the front panel of the DVR or on the remote control to change the device type
Alternatively use the mouse to select the appropriate setting. OPTIONS: PTZ, keyboard, (Recommended)
PTZ+keyboard or (Not Available).
NOTE: RS-232 device must be set to Keyboard.

MODEL
Press +/- buttons to change the supported model (or protocol). Alternatively use the remote control to
change this setting. RS-232 model must be set to Terminal.
• BAUD RATE
Press +/- buttons on the front panel of the DVR or on the remote control to change the Baud Rate
Alternatively use the remote control to change this setting. OPTIONS: 1200, 1800, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200,
38400.
• DATA BIT
Press +/- buttons on the front panel of the DVR or on the remote control to change the Date Bit Alternatively
use the remote control to change this setting. OPTIONS: 5, 6, 7, 8, (Recommended).
• STOP BIT
Press +/- buttons on the front panel of the DVR or on the remote control to change the Stop Bit Alternatively
use the remote control to change this setting. OPTIONS: 1, (Recommended) 2.
• PARITY
Press +/- buttons on the front panel of the DVR or on the remote control to change the Parity. Alternatively
use the remote control to change this setting. OPTIONS: None, (Recommended) Odd, Even.
• DVR/CAMERA ID
Not configurable.
RS-485
The following is a brief description for each item in the RS-422/485 MENU and its specific operations:
NOTE: For RS-422/485, only the Model, Baud Rate and DVR/Camera ID settings should be configured for RS-485.
• DEVICE TYPE
Press the +/- buttons on the front panel of the DVR or on the remote control to change the device type.
Alternatively use the mouse to select the appropriate setting. OPTIONS: RS-485 device must be set to PTZ.

Press +/- buttons to change the supported model (or protocol). Alternatively use the remote control to
change this setting. OPTIONS: Pelco D Protocol Dome, Samsung SCC-641P, Kalatel Cyber Dome, PIH-Series,
Dynacolor, Bosch AutoDome, Video Trek, PTC-400C, VC-C4, Panasonic, Pelco(D-Others), SCC-641P, etc.
The
NOTE: Wirepath Cameras are defaulted to Pelco (D-Type), Baud rate of 4800.

OPTIONS: 0-255.
NOTE: The Camera ID must not conflict with other devices connected to the RS-485 network.
