4.2.2.5 SATA CONFIGURATION
SATA Configuration: When selected, the BIOS automatically detects the presence of the
SATA Devices and displays the settings.
Serial-ATA (SATA): To enables or disables the onboard SATA controller. The options are
[Enabled] and [Disabled].
SATA Mode: To selects the mode for the installed drives. The options are [IDE/SATA Mode],
[AHCI Mode] (default) and [Disabled].
Serial-ATA Port (0, 1): To enable or disable the SATA ports.
SATA Port (0, 1) HotPlug: Allows you to add and remove SATA drive to a computer system
while the computer is running and have the operating system automatically recognize the
change.
