3 MAINTENANCE
3.1 Cleaning
The Luna Mover should be cleaned using a slightly damp cloth with a small quantity of standard
household cleaning agent or use surgical spirit to over-drying.
Strong chemicals or abrasive agents must not be used.
3.2 Storage
The Mover must be stored in a dry environment with relative humidity under 70%.
4 CHECK, WARRANTY AND TROUBLESHOOTING
4.1 Annual check and warranty
The Luna Mover must always be repaired and maintained by qualified personnel.
The manufacturer Winncare Nordic ApS recommends that the Luna Mover MUST be checked
by a qualified technician at least once a year in accordance to Winncare Nordic ApS service
instructions. An annual check is also recommended to the European Standard (EN/ISO 10535)
for patient lifters/hoists including ceiling hoist.
It is the legal owner’s duty to ensure that these checks are carried out on the product.
The following items is to be inspected during the annual check:

Cart wheels and bearings
o
Check for noise and change if necessary
•
Driving wheels/Rubber discs
o
Clean for dust and check for wear
•
Bearings for driving wheel
o
Check if worn down, change if necessary
•
Wire and motor connection
o
Check for defect
•
Safety release system
o
Check for defect
•
Overall condition
o
Cracks, wear and tear, etc.
