before T.D.C.

While constantly turning crankshaft anticlockwise until the crankpin is approx.

before T.D.C. tighten manual ratchet ’H2’ until the connecting rod is pro-

truding from the engine.

⇒

Hook spur-geared chain block ’H3’ in lifting tool GF 94337 in order to take over

the connecting rod, then detach manual ratchet ’H2’.

⇒

Continue turning carefully until the crankpin is approx. 60

after T.D.C., thus

turning the connecting rod out of the engine.
