Gently pull the cable through the
slot until the connector is below
the notch in the pedestal.

Drill a 5/8” hole in the roof for the
coax cable. Make sure the ceiling
area is clear underneath the
chosen location for cable entry.

Make sure the coax runs
through the slot on the
underside of the pedestal. You
may need to use cable clamps
between the unit and the cable
entry plate. Clamping every
12–16” should eliminate any
unnecessary cable movement.

Place the circular gasket in the
chosen location for the antenna,
and trace around the edge of
the circular gasket.

Mounting Option 2

Run coax cable from the power
supply through the ceiling and
to the antenna. Then, run the
coax cable upward through the
antenna pedestal.

Connect the
coax cable
running from
the power
supply to the
coax cable
running from
the antenna
head.

Check with your vehicle
manufacturer for approved
sealant for your vehicle. Then,
apply a liberal amount of sealant
to the traced circle on the roof.
Replace the gasket.

Mounting Option 2

Before using the supplied
screws, check with your vehicle
manufacturer for any screw
requirements. Align the holes
in the gasket and pedestal, and
mount the assembly to the roof
with four screws.

Slowly rotate the antenna head while gently pushing down on the
antenna head. Once the keys on the pedestal align with the grooves in
the antenna head, you should hear the head “click” into place. (

You may not

be able to see the keys and grooves align, but the head will not fully snap into place until
these parts align.

) The head and pedestal should be connected.

Run a solid bead of sealant where
the edge of the pedestal meets the
roof, over the screw heads and
around the slot in the pedestal.

NOTE

After installing the
antenna, install a cable

entry plate (

not provided

) over the

cable entry hole, and seal around
the cable entry plate. Winegard
recommends model CE-1000
cable entry plate (

sold separately

).

Continue with installing the power
supply on page 7.

Carefully pull the coax cable
away from the antenna until
some resistance is felt. You
should not pull more than two
inches of excess cable

through the slot.
