4.4.6 AHCI Configuration   

This sub menu is used to change the settings for the AHCI. 

 

 

AHCI BIOS Support: [Enabled] 

 

Enables or disables the AHCI BIOS Support.   

 

AHCI CD/DVD Boot Time out: [35] 

 

This item allows you to select the value for Boot Time out. 

 

AHCI Port0/Port1/Port2/Port3/Port4/Port5 Sub-Menu: [Not Detected] 

 

SATA Port0: [Auto] 

 

Select the type of device connected to the system.

 

S.M.A.R.T.: [Enabled] 

 

This item allows you to enable or disable S.M.A.R.T.. 

S.M.A.R.T.(Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) . It allows system to use 

the SMART protocol to monitor your hard disk status.
