This menu allows you to enable or disable the hard disk write protect.   

 

IDE Detect Time Out (Sec): [35] 

 

Selects the time out value for detecting IDE devices.   

 

 

 

* Primary IDE Master

 

 

 

Type: [Auto] 

 

Selects the type of IDE device. Setting to Auto allows automatic selection of the 

appropriate IDE device type. 

   

LBA/Large Mode: [Auto] 

 

Enables or disables the LBA/Large mode. Setting to Auto enables the LBA mode if the 

device supports this mode, and if the device was not previously formatted with LBA 

mode disabled.
