3. After you have finished with the PCIPnP setup, press <ESC> to go back to the BIOS
SETUP UTILITY menu.
Description of the item on screen follows:
Clear NVRAM
Clear NVRAM during System Boot.
Plug & Play O/S
Select “No” to let the BIOS configure all the devices if your operation system without PnP
feature.
PCI Latency Timer
Value in units of PCI clocks for PCI device latency time register.
Allocate IRQ to PCI VGA
Assigns IRQ to PCI VGA card if card requests IRQ.
Palette Snooping
Enable to inform the PCI devices that an ISA graphics device is installed.
PCI IDE BusMaster
BIOS uses PCI busmastering for reading and writing to IDE drives.
OffBoard PCI/ISA IDE Card
Setting to “Auto” would work for most PCI IDE cards.
IRQ number
Available specified IRQ number to be used by PCI/PnP devices;
Reserved specified IRQ number for Legacy ISA devices.
