Cutting procedure
1. Set the device temperature to a middle temperature, attach the accessory that you wish to use
and turn on the power switch. Laymen should perform a few test cuts on spare material in order
to get used to the handling of the tool.
Beware!
The blade of the polystyrene cutter heats up very quickly.
2. The device temperature controller offers 16 different temperature settings that can be checked
due to a visible line; the longer this line, the higher the output voltage.
3. Always make sure that the temperature is adjusted to the cutting speed. An excessive emission
of smoke may be caused by overheating or a low cutting speed and may lead to irregular cuts.
Adjust the operating temperature or take breaks between cuts.
4. Use the copper brush to remove residue from the blade after every use of the device.
Safety instructions

Always make sure that the working area is ventilated before using the device.

Do not burn off residue located on the blade as this might deform the same.
•
Do not touch the blade after it has heated up and do not place a device with a hot blade in the
vicinity of flammable objects or substances.
