The permissible temperatures given
in section 1.2 must not be exceeded.
It makes little sense
to use S1R-h when the pump distri-
bution voltage is switched off exter-
nally!! In such cases, Wilo plug-in
module S1R-h (digital) with power
reserve and separate installation and
operating instructions should be
used!

5.1 Assembly and conversion
instructions for mechanical and
electrical connection
– Electrical connection should
be made by a qualified
electrician. Current national
regulations must be obser-
ved (e.g. VDE regulations in
Germany).
– Check the type of current and volt-
age of the mains supply.
– Isolate the mains supply to the
pump and secure against unau-
thorised switch-on.

5.2 Conversion instructions
(Fig.1-9)
Before commencing work, please
ensure that the assembly set is
complete. Should any part be miss-
ing or broken, please contact your
nearest Wilo customer service.

Observe correct installation posi-
tion!

Turn the motor
head through 180° where neces-
sary. See installation and opera-
tion instructions for the pump.

Having loosened the fastening
screws, remove the terminal box
lid.

Loosen connecting cables
L, N
and
PE
and pull out from the PG
threaded joint.

– Warning!
Capacitor
contains voltage. For
reasons of safety the
capacitor should be
left to discharge for at
least two minutes.

Lift and remove the cap cover
(-

-) on the capacitor connection
carefully.

Pull out the capacitor’s connect-
ing wires and remove the capaci-
tor.

Store the capaci-
tor safely for later use in the
S1R-1.

Loosen the two module fastening
screws and the earthing screw
