4 Power off, automatic restart The pump could quickly restart and return to the working
condition when power is switched on (after it has been
switched off).
5 Anti-blocking function The pump runs automatically for 2-3 minutes if it has not
run in the last 24 hours to make sure that the pump does not
block.
11. PIPE ASSEMBLY AND CAUTION
1) The pump must be installed according to the installation drawing (Fig. 2).
2) The pump must be installed as close as possible to the nearest water source so that the suction
line is as short as possible to reduce suction loss.
3) The electric pump is to be installed in a dry and well-ventilated place and must not be
exposed to the sun or rain.
4) The inlet pipe of the pump must not be higher than the inlet (Fig. 3).
5) The pump suction pipe must be immersed 30 cm below the water level to prevent air from enter-
ing the pipe due to the vortex formation. It must be 30 cm higher than the water bottom so that
no soil or other objects enter the pump.
6) If the pump does not have a self-priming function, a non-return valve must be installed.
To prevent water return, it is recommended to install a non-return valve.
7) The pipe connection must be well sealed and made with on-site raw materials and sealants.
If the inlet pipe is not well sealed, the suction will be directly affected, or the water cannot
rise; some problems may occur, for example, abnormal operation, and the water cannot rise.
8) Try to reduce the bend in the pipe circuit as much as possible. The gradient should be less
than 2%.
9) The pipes should be supported separately at all times. They must not be supported by
the pump.
10) It is recommended to install a suction strainer on the inlet to prevent sand and sundries
entering the pump which can damage the pump.
