5. Format if there is asking about formatting a new assigned partition by Windows.

Notice : If you can not format so that it contains the contents in the hard disk. You should tick
‘Removable ’ and then assign a drive letter.
In case of Windows 2000, Start

System. You could see a screen like
the below picture after clicking Device Manager in Hardware tap
