Built-in safety lock
This function ensures that the user can only switch on the appliance
when the accessories have been placed on the unit in the correct
position. When the accessories have been fi tted correctly, the unit can
only be switched on. (i.e. the built-in safety lock function is enabled)

Using the appliance

Place the processor bowl onto the main unit according to the
mark.

Put the processor drive shaft onto the motor drive shaft.

Fit the suitable disk or blade onto the processor drive shaft.
Caution: Always fi t the bowl and attachment onto the appliance
before adding ingredients.

Put on the lid and turn it clockwise until it locks, ensuring that
the top of the drive shaft fi ts into the centre of the lid.

Turn the processor bowl clockwise until it locks.
Caution: Do not use the lid to operate the processor. Always
use the control knob. The processor will not work if the bowl
and lid are fi tted incorrectly.

Turn the control knob to the “ON/Program” position. The
Indicator ring will be illuminated and the unit enters standby
mode.

Pressing the desired program button (Pulse, Mixing or
Chopping) in standby mode will automatically start the selected
program. When the program is fi nished, the unit will return to
standby mode.
