Fireplace Assembly Instructions

Start by building a minimum 8” high x 25” deep, 44” wide base of bricks or blocks. Let dry
overnight. Fill the interior cavity with sand and compact level with top of base A.
2.
Place base piece B (piece without refractory bricks) on base A. Check for level and trace outline
of the base B. Remove piece B and apply a thin coating of mortar on the area you have traced.
Use the same mortar mixture (see page 1) to attach. Make sure base is level.
3.
Place fireplace side walls C and back wall D over base B. Do not use mortar in these joints.
