6. Commissioning, operation
6.3 Storing set points
In the set point mode, up to 9 values can be stored for each area in the permanent
memory.
Procedure:
a. Set the output signal to the desired value.
b. Press the
SHIFT
and then the
SET
key.
c. Define the desired location with the keys 1 to 9 (confirm with
ENTER
).
d. Enter a new value and repeat steps 1 to 3 if needed, until 9 set points are stored at
most for each function.
6.4 Recalling set points
a. In order to recall set points, press the
SHIFT
key and then the
SPT
key.
b. Enter the number of the location where the desired set point was stored earlier.
c. The instrument sets the corresponding output signal.
6.5 Automatic step function
In a special function, the model CEP3000 can auto-step through all stored set points by
means of the step function.
Procedure:
a. Press the
SHIFT
key and then the
AUTO
key.
b. The message
"Auto SPT ?"
is displayed. Enter the last location. Example: If all 9
set points are stored, but only the first three values shall be recalled, enter
"3"
in this
query.
c. In the next window, a dwell of 5 to 500 seconds can be entered. Enter the desired
dwell here (confirm with
ENTER
).
d. The automatic step function is started.
e. For stopping the automatic step function, press the
CE
key or enter a value.
6.6 Manual step function
On the model CEP3000, all or some of the stored set points can be selected manually.
Procedure:
a. Press the
SHIFT
key and then the
MAN
key.
b. Go through the stored set points upwards and downwards by using the arrow keys.
c. To quit, press
CE
or enter a new initial value.
