MAC Address Table

The MAC Address Table provides access to the Static MAC Settings, MAC Aging Time, and Dynamic For-
warding.

5.8.1

Static MAC

The Static MAC page allows you to configure the address for forwarding of packets, the VLAN ID of the
listed MAC address and the designated Port.

To access this page, click MAC Address Table > Static MAC.

The following table describes the items in the previous figure.

Item

Description

MAC Address

Enter the MAC address to which packets are statically forwarded.

VLAN

Click the drop-down menu to select the VLAN ID number of the VLAN for which
the MAC address is residing.

Port

Click the drop-down menu to select the port number.

Apply

Click Apply to save the values and update the screen.

The ensuing table for Static MAC Status settings are informational only: No., MAC Address, VLAN, Port
and Delete (click to delete the desired MAC address).

5.8.2

MAC Aging Time

The MAC Aging Time page allows you to set the MAC address of the aging time to study.

To access this page, click MAC Address Table > MAC Aging Time.
