1400W MARBLE CUTTER                                ENG

1.

Draw a guideline along the desired line of cut before beginning your cut.

2.

Avoid placing the power tool on the part of the workpiece that will fall off when the cut is made.

3.Guide the power tool evenly and with light feed in the cutting direction. Excessive feed significantly
reduces the service life of the cutting wheel and can cause damage to the power tool.
4.

If wet cutting is desired, turn the water supply valve to start water flow.

MAINTENANCE

Warning: Remove the plug from the socket before carrying out any adjustment, servicing

or maintenance.

1. Keep the power tool ventilation slots clean and free from obstructions. If available, blow compressed
air  into  the  vents  to  clear  any  internal  dust  (safety  goggles  must  be  worn  when  undertaking  this
process). Accumulation of dust in the motor or on the base may cause a malfunction of the tool.
2. Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your power tool. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.
3. If the cutting action of the diamond wheel begins to diminish, use an old discarded coarse grit bench
grinder  wheel  or  concrete  block  to  dress  the  diamond wheel.  To  do  this,  tightly  secure  the  bench
grinder wheel or concrete block and cut in it.
4. Your power tool requires no additional lubrication.
5. Always store your power tool in a dry place.
6. The motor employs carbon brushes which are consumable parts. Since an excessively worn carbon
brush  results  in  motor trouble. To  inspecting  or  replacing  the  carbon  brushes,  use  a  screwdriver  to
remove the rear cover (See Fig 12). Take out the carbon brushes. If it becomes worn to or near “wear
limit” (See Fig 13), replacing the new ones, reinstall the rear cover firmly.

Note:

Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the same time. Use only identical carbon brushes.

Keep the carbon brushes clean and free to slip in the holders.
7. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

TROUBLESHOOTING

1. If your power tool will not operate, check the power at the mains plug, or check the carbon brushes.
2. If your power tool doesn’t work properly, check that cutting wheel for sharpness, dressing the cutting
wheel or replace it with a new one if worn.
3. If your cutting wheel wobbles or vibrates, check that clamping flange is tight, check that the cutting
wheel is correctly located on the inner flange
4. If a fault can’t be rectified, return the power tool to an authorized dealer for repair.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle
where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.
