OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Before using the power tool, read the instruction manual carefully.
1. Intended use
The machine is intended for cutting in brick, concrete and stone etc.
2. Before using your power tool
Before using your power tool, always check
residual current device
(RCD) is connected to power supply
and to test the correct operation of the RCD, unless the RCD is of a self-checking type.
3. Adjusting the cutting depth
1) Ensure that the power tool is facing away from you.
2) Loosen the depth locking knob on the depth guide.
3) Hold the base plate flat against the edge of the workpiece and lift the body of the power tool until the
cutting wheel is at the desired depth of cut (See Fig 1). Use the depth gauge to determine the cutting
depth.
4) Tighten the depth locking knob.
Note:
After adjusting the depth of cut, always tighten the depth locking knob securely.
4. Adjusting the cutting angle
The power tool can be adjusted to cut at any angle between 0° and 45°.
1) Loosen the bevel locking bolt on the bevel scale plate on the front of the base plate (See Fig 2).
2) Tilt the body of the power tool until the required angle is reached using the bevel scale as a guide.
3) Tighten the bevel locking bolt to secure the base plate.
4) Loosen the locking bolt on the depth guide and move the base plate so that the cutting depth is less
than 21mm. Then tighten the locking bolt to secure the base plate.
Note: If the cutting depth is more than 21mm, the outer flange may hit the workpiece when you perform
the bevel cut (See Fig 3).

For straight cuts, align the “A” position on the front of the base with your cutting line. For 45° bevel cuts,
align the “B” position with it
(See Fig 4).
Note: Always make a trial cut in a scrap piece of material along a guideline to determine how much you
should offset the cutting wheel from the guideline to make an accurate cut.
5. Switching on and off
1) To start the power tool, simply depress the trigger switch. Release the trigger switch to stop your
power tool.
2) For continuous operation, depress trigger switch and then push in lock-on button (See Fig 5), release
trigger switch first and lock-on button second. Your switch is now locked on for continuous use.
3) To switch off your power tool, just depress fully and release the trigger switch
.
6. Mounting or replacing the wheel
Warning: Only use sharp and undamaged cutting wheels. Cracked or distorted cutting wheels
must be replaced immediately.
