OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Before using the power tool, read the instruction manual carefully.
1. Intended use
The machine is intended for impact drilling in brick, concrete and stone as well as for drilling in
wood, metal and plastic. Machines with electronic control and right/left rotation are also suitable for
screwdriving and thread-cutting.
2. Before using your power tool
1) Be careful of hidden electrical lines or gas and water pipes. Check the working area, e.g., with a
metal detector.
2) Ensure that the power switch is in the off position. If the plug is connected to a power receptacle
while the power switch is in the on position, this power tool will start operating immediately, inviting
serious accident.
3. Adjusting the auxiliary handle
To adjusting the auxiliary handle, loosen the locking screw for handle collar in anticlockwise
direction. Rotate the handle around the handle collar until the handle is in the desired position.
Tighten the locking screw in clockwise direction to secure the handle (See Fig 1).
Note: For your personal safety we recommend using the auxiliary handle at all times.
4. Inserting the tool into chuck
Remove chuck key from key storage tab at base of power tool handle, place key into chuck, turning
the key in anticlockwise direction to loosen chuck, inset tool and firmly tighten chuck by turning key
in clockwise direction (See Fig 2). Remove key and replace in storage tab at base of power tool
handle.
Warning: Before installing tool, remove mains plug from mains supply.
5. Installing the depth gauge
The depth gauge can be used to set a constant depth to drill. To use the depth gauge, loosen the
locking screw for depth gauge by rotating the auxiliary handle in anticlockwise direction. Insert the
depth gauge through hole in handle. Slide the depth gauge to required depth and tighten fully (See
Fig 3).
6. Operating the on/off switch
1) To start the power tool, simply depress the switch trigger. The power tool speed is increased by
increasing pressure on the switch trigger. Release the switch trigger to stop your power tool.
2) If you wish to use the power tool continuously, depress switch trigger then lock on button, release
switch trigger first and lock on button second (See Fig 4). Your switch is now locked on for
continuous use. To turn off your power tool just depress and release the switch trigger. The switch
will return to "off" position automatically.

Adjust the variable speed control to increase or decrease the speed according to the material and
